The 2024 Services Sports Awards
Celebrating the ethos of service through sports.
The team behind the National Armed Forces & Emergency Services Event and the 2023 Services Awards is delighted to announce the launch of another first for the services sector - The 2024 Services Sports Awards.
Following feedback from attendees and persons nominating for the 2023 Services Awards, which celebrated the best in Service from armed to emergency to volunteer, there was deemed enough demand to stage a separate event to honour the greatest sporting achievements within the services community for 2023/24.
The 2023 Services Awards saw the likes of a British Army Superbike contestant nominated, whilst two firefighters from Hampshire took home the Most Outstanding Fire Service Award for their efforts in rowing the Atlantic Ocean.
Now, serving personnel and veterans from the three emergency services, the three branches of the forces and the volunteer arena have their own stage in which to focus sporting successes.
Taking place on Thursday April 11, 2024 at the Montgomery Suite, Stadium of Light, Sunderland, the evening will begin with a drinks reception in the Business Lounge before dinner is served in what will be a black tie event. The awards ceremony will round off a memorable evening.
